About

Spiti Valley in winter transforms into a breathtaking white wonderland, blanketed by thick layers of snow. The temperature often drops below freezing, creating frozen rivers, icy waterfalls, and serene silence across the valley. Most routes remain closed due to heavy snowfall, making it accessible only via the Kinnaur route. The winter months offer a rare glimpse of Spiti’s raw beauty, peaceful monasteries, and a chance to spot the elusive snow leopard amidst the snowy wilderness
